The Hastings Juvenile Chemical Dependency Program (HJCDP) provides residential substance abuse treatment for adolescent males from the ages of 13 to 18 years. The average length of stay is approximately 3-4 months, and utilizes evidenced based practices including motivational interviewing, various cognitive behavioural therapy approaches, contingency management, medication assisted treatment and Brief Strategic Family Therapy. The Hastings Regional Centre is a Joint Commission accredited facility.
